Hallo,
...ich bin Natalie, Fotokünstlerin und Illustratorin aus München.
Mit meinem Hintergrund aus Architektur und Film- und Fernseh-Szenenbild, macht es mir großen Spaß, Bilder zu inszenieren. Ich verbringe viel Zeit mit Recherche und Vorbereitung
um die geeigneten Motive und Requisiten für ein geplantes Bild zu finden. Meist entstehen meine im eigenen Studio inszenierten Aufbauten mit viel Geduld und Handarbeit, um dem vorher gezeichneten Entwurf möglichst nahe zu kommen. Dabei beschäftige ich mich mit den unterschiedlichsten Themen aus der Alltagskultur und spiele mit den Assoziationen und Erfahrungen der Betrachter:innen indem Bekanntes auf eine neue Weise gezeigt wird.
Natalie Strohmaier is a German photo artist based in Munich. She loves to stage images and spends a lot of time researching and preparing to find the right motifs and props for a planned image. Mostly the set-ups staged in her own studio require a lot of patience and manual work to come as close as possible to the previously drawn drafts. She deals with a wide variety of themes from everyday culture, playing with the viewer's associations and experiences by showing the familiar in a new way.
